Lav Agarwal is the founder of Eternia AI. His journey spans security robotics, SmartClean and the practical challenges of digitising building operations.
His background in electrical and electronic engineering and intelligent-systems research at Nanyang Technological University led into entrepreneurship, including security-automation work at Synapse and the founding of SmartClean in 2017.
Over more than a decade, that journey has brought together technical development, hardware, software and commercial execution. It shapes Eternia’s approach: understand the operating problem, build across the stack, and connect intelligence to real work.
SmartClean established the domain foundation. Eternia AI brings that operating experience into an AI and physical AI orchestration OS for buildings, services and autonomous systems.

Dr. Kush Agarwal is the founder of WaveScan, an A*STAR spin-off established in 2018. A scientist, technologist and entrepreneur, he brings more than a decade of wireless-technology research and development to the challenge of understanding what lies beneath the surface.
He holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a master’s degree in Communications Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. His research journey spans A*STAR, NUS and NTU.
At WaveScan, Kush leads the development of AI-powered microwave and millimetre-wave sensing for contactless, non-destructive inspection. The technology combines beamforming, electromagnetic sensing and AI to reveal hidden asset conditions and support more informed maintenance decisions.
A co-founder of SmartClean, Kush connects deep sensing expertise with practical building operations. WaveScan brings that foundation into Eternia AI’s vision for an AI and physical AI orchestration OS.
